An independent visitor guide
Similan-islands.com is an independent travel information website operated by Wayfaring B.V. It is not the official website of Mu Ko Similan National Park, Thailand’s Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, or the Tourism Authority of Thailand. The park name, historic logo and national-park style of the website do not indicate government ownership, authorisation or endorsement.
Earlier wording on this website, including references to a “National Park service team”, should not be read as a claim that we manage the park. We do not issue park permits, control access to the islands or operate the tours linked from this guide.
Historical information and current access
The guide contains original articles that have been retained. Some passages describe earlier arrangements, including island campsites, bungalows, prices, schedules and access to individual islands. These passages are not a statement of current availability. Check current rules, closures, entry requirements, transport arrangements and weather with the national park or your operator before making plans or paying.
Information on this website is general travel information. We aim to identify material errors, but cannot guarantee that every statement is complete or current. Diving and boat travel carry risks; follow qualified instructors, authorised operators and local safety instructions.
